When to score: – At weaning – 30 days post-mating – Before farrowing

What to aim for: – At 30 days pregnant, at least 85% of your sows should be in optimal condition. – Too thin = lower feed intake in lactation, poor piglet growth – Too heavy = increased risk of farrowing problems and poor rebreeding

Regular checks = healthier sows, smoother farrowings, and faster rebreeding. It’s a small habit that pays big.
